Random news: I won a chilli cooking contest today.

Also, still working on the new book. Haven't started writing, but I have found that this book might be- no. It is my reason for living. I've found it.

This is not acceptance, I can still be in denial about having a reason to live lol. But, I'm proud of myself and so is everyone else.

I just wanted to check in. How have you and your family been?

Also, I keep meaning to say something about this. Thumbtack? Really that's the name you went with, I'm so dead! I laugh every time I see it. A constant reminder of how petty I am, and how much people love it

About 80% done with world-building, character, and creature creation for my new series. I decided to expand past one book since I have taken the last idea I had and expanded on it, and with all of the added depth, lore, and conflict, I knew one book would be too rushed.

Just wanted to update you so you know I am still working on it. Just know I am putting so much thought and planning into this one. I'm so ready to get started but I know more needs to be done.

I'm still doing good and working hard to continue my journey btw. I miss you, and I hope all is well with you and the family.

@TiffanyCarr3 So exciting to hear!! Totally get wanting to put some intentional planning into thought and planning into it. I look forward to reading once you get started!

Great to hear as well that you’re still doing good. It’s amazing what you’ve been able to overcome and I was so lucky to get to walk alongside you for part of your journey. Keep it up! Hopefully It’s going well with new treatment team members, and you haven’t needed to threaten them with the stick yet .

We’re doing well! It’s been pretty crazy moving and settling into our new home and starting a new job, but it’s all been positive so far except for of course the normal discomfort that comes from change!

So good to hear from you, and looking forward to the book!
