I am proud to announce that the final chapters of Path to Ascension are ready to publish!
          
          They will be going up next Monday-Saturday at 9 AM, EDT.
          
          If you noticed that Act IX is missing, you are correct: I had to unpublish it to add the new art and not reveal it early. Act IX will return 15 minutes before scene xi. goes up at 8:45 AM, EDT.
          
          All I can say is Get Ready.
          
          (And that I'll be late to reply Monday as I'll be coming home from a camping trip, but I will be here in the evening so you all can yell at me! :)

It is a crime how good you are at writing. Do steal it from other writers. *gasp* are you the reason for writers block. you take our skill.

It's been a hot minute but I have good reasons for going AWOL!
          First, after finishing round one of editing, that weekend my dad needed my help to clean the house. And when I mean clean I mean go through 50 boxes and sort it for throwing away.
          Then when I finally got back home part two took so long. Whenever I don't have anything meaningful to show I tend to hesitate to post since I want it to be worthwhile.
          
          Well, now it is! Part II is finally done and I am now working on grammar and final clarity. I'm also currently writing the epilogue as finishing the major edits to scene xv. has put me in A Mood.
          
          I'll make one last update post regarding the publishing times when they're ready, so you'll know when to actually pay attention. See you soon!

Path to Ascension Editing Begins Now!
          
          Yaay!!!
          It's been a fight and a half to get a whole day to myself but I can finally devote myself to editing.
          I think I'll do two or three rounds:
          
          1) Reread and catalogue every scene, character, choice, and consequence (I deviated from my original plan in some cases and I want a detailed timeline so I don't miss anything). I will also plan for things I need to add/remove/fix, which will be easier because I'll have everything out in front of me and I can see how adjusting things will affect everything.
          
          2) Do the alterations I outline in the first round (a minor round of writing where I comb through the whole thing and adjust my words for clarity and plot adjustments)
          
          3) Grammar/spelling and final checks (making sure there aren't any typos and one last clarity check)
          
          I'll let you know when I complete each round. I'm super happy with what I've got currently and I can't wait for those that read PTA to experience it!!!

PTA update part five: I finished scene xiv. very quickly yesterday and even got into scene xv. a little. I think I'm about halfway through but I'm just letting the words come as they please. I'll stop it when it feels right.
          
          Going camping from Friday-Sunday so I'll be back to editing on Monday. Almost there.

PTA update part four: I continued my insane streak and finished scene xiii. yesterday. I'm on scene xiv. now. Only one more to go!!!
