holy hell, i decided to log back into this after 10(!!!) years. sooooo much has changed since i was last here lol.
most notably, i got engaged in september! to a wonderful guy who has made my life a million times better. we own a house together and 3 cats. i am starting a new well-paying job in a couple weeks. my mom divorced the guy she was with back when i was more active on here, and remarried to a significantly better guy a couple years ago. i reconnected with my best friend from kindergarden! i hadnt seen her since 2nd grade. i have an amazing group of friends too.
but although my life is significantly better than it was 10 years ago, there have also been a lot of hardships that ive had to overcome. my youngest brother, jerin, passed away this past june. reading back on the things ive said about him on here... hurts. he was very annoying back then and definitely knew how to get a rise out of me, but i would give anything to have him back. i definitely took a lot of things for granted.
im not here to write a whole sob story tho lol. just checking in. maybe ill come back in another 10 years. maybe ill delete this account entirely. im a completely different person now, but it is fun and a bit bittersweet to look back and see how much things have changed.
