@TimaKho @TimaKho I’m very sorry to hear that happened to you. Both the personal experience and the comments that made you stop writing. I hope that careless and mean comments don’t keep you from doing something you enjoy. Sometimes people hide behind the anonymity of a keyboard and say pretty mean things they wouldn’t dare say face to face. Other times, we readers can be thoughtless with our words and not realize that a mean spirited remark can really hurt someone and can have an effect on that person.
I’m truly sorry if that was the case with you, and I would only encourage you to let all the negativity bounce off of you and don’t let it have an impact on your life. There’s always going to be people that have nasty attitudes and you’re probably never going to make everyone happy, but the important thing is that YOU are happy, and if writing a story makes you happy, who cares what anyone else has to say. Write what YOU want and what makes YOU happy, if that’s what you enjoy. Who knows, it might even be therapeutic to write it if it’s based on personal experience, let out all your hurt feelings and putting it on “paper” might help purge them out. But I hope that either way you are feeling well and are taking care of yourself first and foremost.
Just know that if you ever decide to keep writing, I’ll be a fan! I really want to know what happens to Tina and Will. I’m rooting for Tina and I want to see her get her happy ending!
