          I am aware the Land of Stories and the A Tale of Magic… series have mentions of drug usage, alcohol usage, su!c!dal ideation, sexu@al intercourse, and the like in them. I have expanded upon one of those topics (drug usage) because I wanted to see if I could come up with something to back up why it was thrown into the Mother Goose Diaries haphazardly as an offhand comment. I have chosen to expand upon Pixie Dust because it stood out to me, but I don’t expand upon real NSFW material because it makes me uncomfortable to see that kind of stuff included in a fic about a children’s series. 
          
          If you are going to post about that kind of stuff, I’ll be deleting it. No questions asked. I’m tired. If you are going through issues with mental illness and they are making you post about this kind of thing, please seek professional help. Just know that commenting on wattpad isn’t going to get you anywhere. I am a psychologist but I am not licensed. I just study the brain. I cannot help you. Neither can random people on the internet unless they DO have a license. Please. Just stop. 
          
          If anyone has any questions about what may constitute as material I will delete, you are ALWAYS welcome to ask beforehand. Always. But if you are going to post it randomly and without warning, and if it is something I personally deem as absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable, it’s gone. Period.

The Creators have long hair because their hair is actually sacred to them. You’ll find that most of the Creators aren’t even scarred or damaged at all because their bodies are very, very, very sacred in their own sort of religious way. You’ve probably noticed that the Creators are mostly based on concepts, right? Life, Death, Time, Space, Light, Dark, Color, etc. so on and so forth lol. So because they are these concepts given form, their forms are actually treated like a gift from the universe to them. They actually cannot cut their hair to even style it or get their bangs out of their eyes unless someone special is doing it and unless it’s taken care of in a ceremonial manner. When a Creator has their hair cut off completely—either by someone else who has the power to do so or if they cut it off themselves—all of the other Creators will mourn their loss of it. Many of them will actually cry because of it and what it symbolizes: The loss of one of their most sacred possessions. They also physically have a decrease in power if their hair is cut off, but it is widely sought after since their bodies hold so much energy and their hair can be used to do crazy things like regrow limbs and bring the dead back to life completely and things like that. This is why they are all trained to defend themselves in case someone comes along and tries to take it. Trust me, their long hair doesn’t impede them in the slightest.

No he’s not. Nova does not show the qualities of being on the autism spectrum. He may come off as neurodivergent because of how the Creators interact with others and because of how different they tend to be, but Nova is not on the autism spectrum—or at least he’s not designed to be. Nova has no troubles with social communication and interaction. He loves to show himself off actually. The unusual behaviors and interests he has stem from his obsession with his past too, but they are not at the level of someone with autism. 
          
          I do want to end this by saying that I myself am not autistic, but I have studied psychology for a few years now and I know some of the basics. I do want to say that you can be on the autism spectrum and have different qualities that present themselves, and you can be high-functioning and not even question it. This last part is kind of for everyone who has read this far. I do my best to give representation in my story. I have neurodivergent characters. I don’t want to paint autism in a negative light—because, if you haven’t noticed, Nova is kind of a not nice guy—because it’s not fair to all the wonderful people out there with autism. They deserve better representation than a guy with separation anxiety and a cruel sense of justice. If I am going to have an autistic character, I would want to first collaborate with a few of my friends who have autism and try and understand it better before even thinking of making a character with it. As you see now, a lot of the characters mimic my own way of thinking, and I’m classified as neurotypical (I think…yeah. Or, at least I’m pretty sure I do). 
          
          Sorry this was such a long answer, but a question like this doesn’t get answered with just a yes or a no to me haha. I take mental health very seriously, and I value and cherish the people I know who have been diagnosed (or are on their way to being diagnosed) with autism spectrum disorder. If Nova came off as autistic, I apologize. He’s not meant to.

Wow I uh it just came to my attention that people actually read the story I’m writing and I just thought I’d say ya know…it’s the holidays, there’s a bunch of stuff I’m doing, and I’m super sorry the updates are so infrequent. It’s gonna be really slow for the next little bit because tis the season lol. Anyway, I thought I’d just post an announcement because I don’t want y’all gettin your hopes up too much. When the holidays pass, things should go back to—somewhat—normal…hopefully.
