Since I love your fanfic “A Summer to Remember” so much, I’m curious to ask - do you have a favourite character to write? And on the flip side, which one do you find the most difficult to get right?

@lyraofthevalley, Sebastian is fantastically written in the game - the tragic backstory, the dying sister, the rogue charm - no wonder the fanfiction fandom is almost entirely centered around him! Even when he gets dark and starts acting like a rotten brat to MC, it just adds depth to his character, fleshing out the hurt, the despair, and the descent into dark arts. Gareth is like the complete opposite of the spectrum.lol A bright and happy lab living for fun and mischief! You capture his personality to a t! Your Ominis feels authentic, exactly the way he comes across in the game - even if he sometimes gives you trouble, I can't tell. I know what you mean, I struggle with balancing internalization - it always feels like a balancing act, trying to hit 'just right' without overweighing the narrative.

I’m super excited to continue reading your story, I’m so invested! I think the way you capture the characters is so spot-on and canon compliant, too + the Delacour family is just lovely!
As for writing, I definitely have to agree with you - Sebastian is a blast to write. He has such a solid foundation in the game, so it feels really rewarding to build on that. And Garreth is just pure fun, I love whenever I get to write him.
It’s funny that you mentioned Ominis being the most difficult, because he’s actually my biggest challenge to write, too! And sometimes Lyra is tricky - it’s always a juggling act trying to get all her internal thoughts down while making sure the other characters don’t get lost in the shuffle. But yeah, all in all I love all of them like they’re my children hahaha
