My name is Tim Niederriter. That can be pronounced "Need a Writer." I write novels, build worlds, run games, and walk around the alternately icy and scorching plains of Minnesota.

I grew up as the second-youngest of five siblings, including my twin brother.

I played (And still play) games of all sorts, but mostly of the nerdy tabletop variety.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome as a child.

I finished my first novel at age fifteen.

I studied English in College, but I've always been a genre writer at heart.

I've written and edited as a freelancer, but now I'm mostly focused on my own fiction.

I like whiskey, cats, heavy metal, and building strange worlds. Oh, and Roleplaying Gaming is my favorite sort of gaming.

Right now I produce and host two podcasts, "Alive After Reading," and "Of Mooks and Monsters" on my website. The first one is my conversations with fellow authors and the other is about running roleplaying games.

What else is there to say? I'm happy for the chance to share my work in the world.
