Hey everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well! I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in new chapters. To be honest, it’s been really hard for me to stay focused and motivated to keep editing and adding more to the story. I don’t want to sound like I’m always making excuses, but the reality is that my daughter is in a new phase—throwing tantrums, hitting herself out of frustration, and being extremely picky with food.
Yes, I know this is normal—she’s still learning how to process her emotions—and I’m doing the best I can. But by the time she’s in bed at night, I have zero energy left to work on the story. It was much easier with “Remember Me” because she was tiny and writing was my mental escape. As she’s gotten older, it’s become harder and harder to keep up with The Serpent’s Bride.
Sometimes I think about ending the story short, but I don’t want to do that to you all. I have so many ideas for other fandoms I’d love to write for, but it’s just really hard right now. This isn’t me saying I’m going to stop writing this story—I will continue—but this is my reality at the moment. For now, I’ll probably only be able to post one chapter a week or maybe every two weeks. Some weeks it might even be two chapters in one day and then none the next.
I hope you understand, and I truly appreciate all of your patience and support. ❤️
