Happy New Year! I know it’s been about six months since I update The Pilgrimage. The past year or so has been very difficult for me and my family. My children lost their mother suddenly in late December of 2020 in a non-covid related death, so I was thrust into being a single parent without warning. Even though their mother and I were no longer together in a romantic way, we remained close friends. My oldest is 20 and in college but my youngest is 18 and has severe autism and that presents its own set of challenges. Free time is just something that I don’t have very much of anymore. I’m still writing, just not as often or as much as I used to. On a happier note, last month a started a new job and that’s going well I’m much happier at work that what I was. Slowly our lives are getting to some state of normal. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that 2022 is a much better year for us and for all of you too!
