Hi, Victoria. I'm delighted that an African is enjoying Risking All for Love.
Thank you for the votes.
I loved my experience in Africa so much, that I can't write about Liberia without including Holy Cross Mission where I served as a Peace Corps teacher .
I wrote myself into the story's Prologue. Remember the scene in the monastery Tea Room? All the first names were from real people who served at Holy Cross Mission .
My friend Mike Chew adopted an African baby. He and his wife named him Vani Scott and raised him along with their own boy.
Unfortunately Vani passed away in Germany where Mike lives.
In the scene in the tea room, I was the character who went by the nickname Perk.
There really was a Brother Kevin at Holy Cross Mission .
Thank you for your interest in my story.
