I'm falling for him so hard.. I hope this works out in the end.. I don't care that we are almost 4 years apart in age.. Age is just a number...

Between losing my best friend and all the crap going on in band, I just can't take it anymore.. I'm so lost and I don't know where to go anymore... I feel so alone... Here's to a sleepless night of crying.. Senior year sucks so far and we are 8 days in... </3 :'(

I did a solo and was part of a trombone trio for my schools Solo Ensemble this year. My solo went really well and I got a 1 rating, which is the best score you can get(1 is the best, 5 is the worst). I was 1 point away from getting a perfect score. The trio went really well also. We got a 1 and were 2 points from getting a perfect score. I'm so proud of the other guys in the trio. We've got a section bond that most sections wish they could have. I may be the only girl, but I've taken the leadership spot, I'm oldest anyway, and they know I'm the leader. What I say goes, we goof around a lot but we know when to be serious and get things done. I'm glad I got to spend a few hours with them today and it's been one of the best times I've had at a band event this year. Very little stress and the only time I was really stressed was when I almost didn't have SmartMusic(a music program) to be my accompanist.. Luckily that got worked out so I didn't have to play just by myself or with a piano player who hasn't ever played my part before. Overall, for the few hours I was away today, I made a lot of memories. I played my first solo ever, first time participating in a trio, got two 1 ratings today, and I got an even better bond with 2 of the 3 others in my section, if that's even possible.

My old band director(who is currently my profile picture) was involved in a serious head on collision this morning on his way to work.. He had to be flown, by helicopter, to a hospital roughly an hour and a half away from the crash.. His legs were trapped and has possible chest injuries.. At about 11:30 he went into surgery, but I'm not entirely sure what for.. I haven't heard any update on his condition, but I'm really worried about him. Even though we don't talk anymore, he still means a lot to me.. I'll post updates about his condition when I get him. Prayers and thoughts would be great right now.. Please pray for him and his family through these rough times..

I'm so disappointed on how that turned out.. What if I did something different? What if I had advertised differently? So many what ifs running through my head on what could have happened if I did something different... I don't know if I'm disappointed in myself or disappointed with the way our band has been and how they won't support us even though they are in band.. Things have been so sh!tty this year... I want to go back in time so bad to redo things with my old director... I want to know why he left for sure.. I understand the getting a different experience part of why he left but I have a feeling there was more to it than that...

I try so hard, yet fail so many times... I need you here with me to hold me when I cry and lose complete control over my emotions.. Most nights I cry myself to sleep and you have no clue.. I've only really opened up to one person I have met in person.. She loves me for who I am and I'm happy to call her my cousin. She's helped me so much the past few days.. I love her more than she knows..

Can you do me a favor? We are up right now but my schools pep band is doing a contest called March Music Madness. It's where our pep band made a video and sends it in to a contest to hopefully make it to the finals and earn some money for our schools band. I got a video sent in and voting is going on now until March 9th at 11:59pm Iowa, USA time. It might be confusing for some to do, but with plenty of voting time, could you help us out?
