I hate to say it guys but... MoaM will be put on hold for a while. I've done a lot of reading on storytelling, hero's journey, etc. and there has already been so many mistakes that as I read it, I double over in my chair and roll halfway across the room...

HOWEVER, be on the lookout for something else here soon... I think I have something very interesting in mind. Thanks for being awesome!

Okay everybody, so here is the situation on Mumblings of a Magus. Soooo, last chapter I just kind of wrote without a goal in mind aaaand ended up nowhere BUT I read an article recently about writing and I think I've gotten it down a bit better.

So I am fleshing out my story and spending more time with my characters so I can give them a tiny bit more depth. I think I can provide a better quality story with that in mind. Thanks for bearing with me everybody! Its coming back soon I promise!

Thank you for reading my book. Can you please give me some feedback?

TotalMage

Absolutely! ^.^ I think I left one or two comments in it, suggesting some stuff but I'm not sure. XD It was late last night.

I don't want this to sound rude but it's just for the purpose of making your writing better. BUT my chapters tend to be improv. I don't stick to a script because I just haven't planned out the book. One thing I do though is I have a goal for every chapter. I want so and so to have done this and this by the time I'm done writing. So I start where I left off and continue writing until I've reached my event.

So, if I wanted the audience to like Lia a little more, I would make sure that something bad happened to her. (That's how it's done. Sorry :/ but it makes people like your characters more.) So you could make something happen so that her parents decide to move the day before her date. Or maybe Toby gets a flat and can't get it fixed before she has to move. So now... They have to have date sooner, OR ELSE it'll never happen! INSTANT TENSION!

If you have specific questions or anything else just shoot me a message! Keep writing! ^.^
