So I’m kinda concerned about this whole Global “Online Age-Verification” and you should be too. The government wants to enforce us to give them our government ID or a face scan (biometric data) to access the internet, and even our own phones.
Apple has already announced that they are issuing a worldwide age verification to where you need a face scan to even open the phone you paid for.
Idk man. But if this goes through I don’t think I’ll be on here anymore. I’m not giving up my sensitive data. There have been too many identity breaches already.
Idk what I’m gonna do about the phone thing. I heard Android is next. Maybe I’ll buy a flip phone.
I’m hoping something happens to where none of this goes through. I don’t want to stop writing here or stop talking to you guys….everything is just going wrong and they want to control us so badly.

Yeah. I dont want to leave or stop writing. And people need the internet for work or to apply for jobs. Its all just so stupid and all about control. They want to censor our media and monitor what we say. The UK just put a ban on anime and manga and their reasoning was that a lot of anime has incest (???) and yet its legal in the UK to marry your FIRST cousin. Make it make sense.

Honestly, I completely agree. All this age-verification bs feels very dystopian and a dumb excuse for the government to spy? on us. I genuinely don’t understand what it’s gonna do to actually help protect children and as you said, it’s very likely it’s all about control rather than protection.
I hope they don’t continue to go for this nonsense cuz I’d hate for you to leave :(
