Jamie was sitting at the dining room table of her house, doodling in her sketchbook as she heard her parents chatting with Richie and Eddie in the living room. They and Edith were visiting today and, although she had greeted them with politeness, she felt as though she were being a burden by being around them. So she had distanced herself and left them to their own business and here she was now, drawing a sketch of her dream house.

@Tozierisms Jamie smiled in understanding, nodding in reply. “I get that,” she replied as she giggled. “I mean, I’m the opposite but sometimes, it doesn’t hurt to have time to yourself and close yourself off for the whole day. I do that whenever I’m stressed, and it always helps.”

@Tozierisms Jamie nodded in agreement before smiling. “Yeah,” she said in reply. “So, how have you been?! I haven’t seen you in a while!” She had to admit to herself that she hadn’t seen Edith in quite a few weeks due to school, and she felt saddened because of that.

But Edith technically isn’t a Reddie kid. She’s Richie’s biological daughter and does fit within the IT Chapter 2 timeline. But timelines don’t matter to me and I’ll always be willing to rp her as a Reddie kid without other Reddie kid OC accounts.
And I know that Richie didn’t want kids. I honestly didn’t realize that until I think a couple months ago, and I’ve had this OC for a year I think? Actually, no, about 2 years. So I didn’t know about that when I created her and I don’t have it in me to change that because I’ve created stories for Edith on another account and my own universe for her in my head. I love Edith and she’s everything I want to be.

RANDOM HEADCANON #10: Just something I thought of because I like to hurt my girl. But Edith does get injured during the battle with Pennywise (perhaps when tackling someone from getting impaled, who knows). She gets a large slash on the side of her stomach, which results in a big scar. She used to love wearing crop tops and two-piece bathing suits until she got the scar. It’s something Edith is deeply insecure about and she stopped wearing those kinds of things.
