Did you try Redemption by @Queen_of_desires. That book is 1000/10. It is a mafia book but the storyline is very unique and realistic!! It's the only book I can recommend to someone without second thoughts ❤

I also agree with you about those kind of girl protagonists here in Wattpad just taking their cheater bf/husband back that easily. Although forgiveness isn't my forte we must do it to fully love someone and be peaceful.
