What is the obsession with not happy endings in the cyberpunk fanfic community... Ive read alot now and they all are not a happy ending. I enjoy the fandom, but can we not be drones and do the same thing over and over and over again???? I get its cyberpunk but come on...

Have been stuck on chapter 50 of my Hermione fic... Currently sitting at over 8k words and it isn't finished.
