I love crossover reader stories.
But most suffer from the same thing.
Piling on a mountain of different anime’s, rushing the story, chapters as short as a politicians dïck and Sin awful grammar.
I want a huge anime crossover with a reader insert as the main character as much as the next guy but when you have so many characters, worlds, interlocking stories and powers all in one specific story it’s unbelievably hard to stay on top of it all and write it in a way that that makes sense, properly includes everything otherwise why add it into the crossover AT ALL!
And to use all the characters meaningfully.
Keep in mind I’m not calling out anybody but I have seen this becoming a pattern.
I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s noticed this with “Crossover X Reader” stories.

The greatest crossover story would be just two at most three animes that have been interlocked so well and integrated together that it seems like one big anime.
Like if you were to throw together Highschool DXD and Percy Jackson that would work because it's like two different places of the same world.
Animes that won't EASILY mix together is like BNHA and One Piece without a major plot change of one or the other
