Well it really depends on how you feel, if you feel like the first one is a lost cause then I suggest you work on the new one, if you feel like you want to see it throught to the end or rewrite bits you didn't like it but you don't have any ideas I suggest you write the new one and put the other on haitus for a bit until you get inspiration, if you have ideas that you really want to add then keep doing your first, if you have ideas but writing that book doesn't make you happy than stop and take some tine off and start writing the other one or just take a break to get your life and ideas back on track.
