Hi! So yes, that was the little mating season arc I wrote when I was 15. I mainly wrote it because back when the story was a oneshot collection, mating seasons chapters were so typical so I included my own version. Getting older though, I didn’t really like the concept in general even with how I pulled back on it, it just felt like unnecessary romanticization of the concept with how it usually ends in SA/harassment and just became uncomfortable with it. As time went on I also realized it’s just not the type of stuff I would’ve written and I guess it didn’t feel like my writing or representative of it anymore 

Aw, I guess this is a goodbye to Y/N and Leo. But I'm so happy with the way you wrapped everything up, and I'm so glad nothing ended on cliffhangers otherwise I would be going crazy. I also wanted to tell you that I've been re reading your book again and I am in awe at how well you got the characters personalities. I can practically hear every single character exactly like the show, like they're all PERFECT.  I love the best friend and lovers relationship Leo and Y/N have, it really makes me wish people like Leo existed in real life. I love Raph in this book, he's literally the best, his personality is perfectly on point..but Donnie and Mikey omg they're so underrated...OH and I LOVE how you redeemed April and Casey and made them much better than how the show portrayed them. And you wrote Master Splinter PERFECTLY, like I am in awe. Who needs to watch the show when U have this piece of literary masterpiece. 
            If you're publishing ANY (literally any genre/fandom) other books or fanfictions, PLEASE let me know because I am ADDICTED to your writing. You seriously have a lot of talent. Aaand maybeee consider a final final chapter for the fearless leader story... yk give it a proper goodbye ....just kidding, no pressure on you, it's your story and U can do whatever you feel like, and I know it can be time consuming and stressful (just a suggestion )
            Also, in the near future (like a lot of months because of planning and drafting), I might release a TMNT 2012 fanfiction too. I know this is early to ask and my book isn't even ready yet, but when it is would U be willing to be my first read and give me honest feedback?

This is late, but THANK YOU SO MUCH. Your words really mean so much and considering I want to become an official published author hearing something like that is so encouraging. Unfortunately I doubt I’ll be continuing My Fearless Leader :’( As much as I LOVE the story so much and have been writing it so long, with my life where it is right now I don’t see being able to publish like I want to. Where I left it of course isn’t where I wanted to end things, but I do kind of consider it a decent ending spot even though I had so many more plans. The current arc of the story is all tied up with a happy ending except for a couple details. I could see a possibility in the future that I might come back and pick it back up though…

First, thanks so much for the love and being so kind to think of me in requesting advice :) It can definitely be disappointing not getting many comments. Especially after the huge climaxes of my story pass and there will be a lot then but much less once it’s passed and transitions to other things. There are moments I’d love to see reactions to and it can be a real motivator to get any kind of comment or feedback. Ultimately for me I remember that I’m writing the book for myself first and enjoy doing that either way. And with social media being a big part of reading and writing now I remember that just bc ppl aren’t commenting as much doesn’t mean they’re not reading and enjoying it. And as a new writer it’ll definitely take time to get the ball rolling. Glancing at your story you seem to be off to a good start in my opinion, especially for like a month. And you update waaay more than me which is helpful lol. 
            
            It’s also good to keep in mind that writing and publishing your work even if you’re the only soul who will ever see it is great practice. Wattpad is special in the way people can get to stories sooner or way later and when you get a steady base of readers keeping up with your book. The fun thing is that once it’s up it’s there forever and people will keep finding long after you expect them to. The internet is tricky too with reading becoming a social interaction now on platforms like this. But trust me, don’t be discouraged! So much luck with your writing and like you said, keep going!
