Hello! Bro tell me the difference between rap and poetry is their any formal rule of deciding a patch weather its poetic or a rap .and what are the basis of writing a poem.

@roshan5 Firstly, you must ask, have questions, rather than demands, however sincere they may be. Now, rap is poetry, but poetry does not have to rap, similarly, a square is a rectangle but a rectangle doesn't have to be a square. Poetry is mere self expression, and your ability to use your control of your language to awaken emotion. If you want to really improve, simply study the english language and study your own emotions. the rest should flow from that point, but do not undermine the fact that myself and other dedicated poets have, are, and will put hours upon hours into the craft of self expression, th choice is yours, your voice is yours, and your soul is only yours. i hope that helped.
