Teresa Seals was born in Saint Louis, Missouri to high school sweethearts. With her parents knowing the reality of struggle together they were determine to see their only child strive for excellence. Through their hard work and determination they believed that Teresa was on the path which could only lead to success. Influences by peer pressure had not been what they had anticipated for their child. Becoming fascinated by the street life she switched paths. Caught up in the life Teresa soon found out that nothing can substitute a sense of direction, especially when given the opportunity to reconsider your choices. 

With pride being the driver in her life Teresa didn't know where to turn when the father of her children was arrested and sentenced to one hundred eighty months. Rather than being intimated by fears that she blamed on circumstance she found new desires in writing. Life experiences on the wrong path lead to Teresa self-publishing her first novel Taylor Made.

Self confidence along with determination helped this mother of five pick up the pieces. She put all her inadequacies on the shelf and began to take a journey on a new path. Making all her disappointments and setbacks stepping stones, she mentally prepared herself for some victories. Realizing that failure is simply staying down when you stumbled or trip she manifested. With perseverance and self reliance, Seals obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2003 and later received her Master's degree in 2007.

Teresa Seals currently works for a social service agency in St. Louis as she encourages her low-income clients to focus on attainable goals. While working full-time, parenting, and school she stills find time to write her version and take on street life.
