Okay, this is gonna be one of my more major announcements so here we go. First off, I've added new Illustrations to The Butterfly Girl like I said I would. However, going back just to make this tiny edits got me noticing things. I mentioned before when I edit my chapters, it counts as someone "reading" it, even though I'm the author. So technically, the story doesn't actually have over 700 reads since most of them were from myself from editing/fixing them. Which means the reader count isn't completely accurate and I don't know exactly how many people have read it. Most of the time I'm just hopping around making sure that the chapter I want to edit is the correct one. So here's what I'm thinking....
I'm gonna do one last overhaul on the story. Just like I did last time, but to keep myself going straight, I'm going to make a script for myself and write down a small summary for each chapter. Like a recap, but for myself to read so next time I want to add new illustrations or edit anything I can just look at that rather than chapter hop and make it count as "read" so I don't get an inaccurate read count. (And if I do just so happen to come across any mistakes, I will fix those. I make a lot of minor grammar mistakes apparently.) During that time, I'm going to set this story to Unpublish. That should make the read count back to 0. Will you have to re-read the entire story again? No, you definitely don't have to. The most I'm going to do is some grammar editing and maybe some chapter re-naming. But the story itself will stay the same so you don't have to go all the way back and start over. If you wish to witness these new, minor changes then you are more than free to re-read and experience the adventure again! So don't be alarmed when you see the story not there, I'm just taking it to the back to fix it a bit and it'll be done before you know it! I'll let you know when it's finished and ready.
