​I am a writer in the city of Chicago. I have been compiling information on different mythologies and magic systems since 2004 when I decided I wanted to write a novel. I did things in reverse of what I learned most people do.



I created my world before my characters. The world I've created is extensive and has its own history dating back a couple hundred-thousand years. This story is an accumulation of me processing all of the information I have acquired and creating a story that fantasy lovers can enjoy.

My main goal with my story is to make a series that I can be a fan of as well. 

"The Pendulum That Swings" is about a young man's growth into adulthood as he deals with the weight of adolescence and the burdens of being the son of a father who was never there. 
•    What does it mean when blood isn't a factor in family? 
•    When is it okay to be frustrated by your own weakness?
•    And who do you want to be, when magic isn't just something that's told to broken children so that they can believe in a better tomorrow?
