I have three separate story trilogies set in Hong Kong The first trilogy is called The Pearl of the Orient (set during the Japanese invasion and occupation of the territory in WW2), the second is called The Legacy of 84’s Failure (an alternate timeline where the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration never happened, leading to a Chinese invasion at the end of the 99-year lease in 1997), and The Flames of Fracture (another alternate timeline story where the pro-democracy protests in 2019 and 2020 inspired similar movements in Mainland China, leading to a second Chinese civil war)
