TurquoisePhoenix1

Due to the serious lack of updates on my account, I've decided to just post a bunch of my "art" to let you know I'm still alive.

TurquoisePhoenix1

Haha never mind, I took it down

Okay yea I think I'm gonna undo that "if you follow me I follow you" policy thing I have because I feel very used right now and I don't think any of my followers actually care about my content. Heck, I don't think anyone's even going to read this. Prove me wrong! If somebody, anybody responds to this then MAYBE I won't unfollow and undo everything. If not, well, I'll just go back and undo my policy before unfollowing all the people that I don't think even read the descriptions on my works. At least then I'll know the difference between the people that at least give my content a chance and the people who just want another follow.

@TurquoisePhoenix1 No problem at all! If you ever have any questions I'm happy to help. ^^

@PortalPanda thank you so much for the advise, it really means a lot! I'll try to remember that and yea, I think I'll just take down the policy. Again, thank you! It means more than you know!

@TurquoisePhoenix1 I will admit that I haven't read your works, but I have always intended to. I try to spend what free time I get writing, so I don't get to read as much as I used to. Most of the people I follow I'm either friends with irl or have been kind readers and often left feedback on my works. I try to follow them and read and vote/comment on their works to say thank you.
If I were you I would undo the follow for a follow policy. You seem to only want followers who genuinely care about your work or you as a person (and I don't blame you at all, I'm the exact same way), and offering a follow for follow policy will only encourage people to follow you simply for a follow back. Even without a policy like that you're always going to have followers that never read or leave feedback on your works. That happens on every site. I'm at nearly 50 followers now and I get very few comments on new content.
The best way to get real, loyal followers is to just keep writing. It's not too much fun at first, and it can be hard, but over time you'll build up a loyal group who will read and leave feedback on pretty much everything. It just takes time to get there.

Working very hard to wrap up these next chapters! Just hang in there! Now that I've made a second account, (of which I refuse to mention) I'm working twice as hard to update in a timely manner on both accounts. So if I seem to be taking a little longer than usual, don't give up faith! I can assure you, I am working very hard, hard as I can with all the life going on right now. I'm sure some of y'all out there understand me. Anyway, PEACE!
