Well, well, well! Long time no see people! I've recently gotten back my passion for writing and I wanted to share my stories on here as well as on AO3. I've been writing bits and pieces of a one-shot series called King Merthur, which is a collection of any short stories I come up with having to do with the plotline of Merlin basically being a king beside Arthur. As much as I love writing them, I have had a story idea stuck in my head for weeks. I couldn't quite find a pairing that I believe fit the storyline. Merlin and Arthur definitely do, but I can't see myself writing them in this context right now. Until I remembered a pairing that I've loved for a very long time. Sam and Colby. Now, I don't ship the boys in the real world. I only ship them in fiction. But I genuinely believe they are the most attractive pairing I have ever seen. I'm a Sam guy, but don't get me started on Colby. Those boys are the only reason I figured out what my type was, and my dating life has soared from it.
With that being said, I can't picture writing this story with any other pairing. If it's not your thing I completely understand. But I have already started writing it and it's hard to stop. That's a feeling I haven't had in a while. I almost envy the dark relationship they have despite how blatantly toxic it is.
Since I am writing so much of it, I can't say when I will be posting the prelude and teaser chapters. I'm thinking about 2 weeks before I debut the first chapter. I'm very excited to share it with the world, so I won't wait too long. I just want to have a backlog of chapters written, at least 4, before I publish anything in case I get too busy to write. I'm hoping that doesn't happen, but recently I haven't had much time.
If you like the pairing, definitely keep an eye out for the prelude and the teaser! It's very dark and may have some triggering content, but it is all laid out in the prelude. I hope to see you all soon! -Beowulf
