Who let me write in middle school? WHO LET ME WRITE-
          
          I took down Find Me and Defy Me. I physically couldn't stand myself knowing those things were out in the public eye

All I wanted was to teach one of my characters a lesson so they knew that the villain was being dead serious, and I originally planned on just having a gang (sent by the villain) beat him up to say "hey you sadistic bundle of sunshine, you better take us seriously or you'll never see daylight again."
          
          But then I killed the character's brother by drugging him into insanity, which is much more  drastic than just giving him a kick or two and leaving him there on the street.
          
          I really need to get my plot under control

I just wrote a scene where a bunch of assassins raid an orphanage and kill all the children and take the older girls to sell to the highest bidding pleasure houses.
          
          What kind of horrible twisted society have I created-

Is it a thing for authors to put, like, a TW note at the beginning of their book? Cause I've never had a book that had like an author's note or something saying, "Hey, this book contains subjects of this and this." You know what I mean?
          
          Honestly think we should normalize that. Cause I know for a fact I'm gonna put an author's note that says, "Hello, dear readers. This book mentions abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction, sexual abuse, and other subjects that may be heavy and painful for audiences. Please read with caution." 
          
          I understand that they're not necessary for every book, but it's a considerate thing to do. It helps the reader feel safe, you know?
          
          Also.
          
          Do y'all ever have a moment where it occurs you that your book contains subjects that may come out as "controversial"? Because here I am, with a character that is openly hateful toward their corrupt King, knowing damn well that the punishment for such remarks is torture or public execution. There's gonna be someone that says, "tHis pRomoTes dEfiAnce aGaiNst tHe gOverNment. It'S iNcitIng a rEvoLt."
          
          THERE'S GONNA BE *THAT* PERSON.
          
          In conclusion, we as authors should look after our readers and incite healthy chaos because that's what we're here for. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Hello, my dears!
          
          Remember me? How could you not? I'm brilliant ;)
          
          Arrogance aside, I have been working on my writing outside of this marvelous and traumatizing app. If you've read some of my (cringy) work on here, you'll be familiar with Eleven and Jason and all their chaos. So, with that in mind, I've decided to give their story rest. For now. This doesn't mean I've given up on their story; I'm just trying a different idea with different characters right now. The main characters for Find Me, and before that Brave, will always have a space in my heart. I'm just giving myself the chance to start fresh and to return to Jason and my drama king El when I know I can give their story justice.
          
          My new story idea includes a chaotic group of traumatized performers, including a magician with a cane, his flirty nonbinary magician bestie, a weapon thrower, a genius prop maker, a sword swallower and juggler, a stunt artist, and a talented acrobat. Seven (I always have to include a number-named person lol), Quinn, Jay, Neil, Artem, English, and Freya. That's the new crew I'm dealing with. Do you think they'd get along with the Find Me characters? I think El would really bond with Jay.
          
          I don't know if I'll put this story on Wattpad or wait to put it out there when I publish it. Frankly, I don't even know how long I'll stick with this idea. But if y'all are interested in my crew of compressed chaos, let me know and I'll consider posting my ideas on here.
