Hi, everyone!
          
          I thought it was time to finally make a post. 2023 was a really rough year for me in terms of my writing goals.  I didn't finish a single book I tried to write nor did I really like a single book I tried to write.  But I still had a ton of new ideas. I thought I was just experiencing burnout and would be able to give you more books in 2024. But it seems, I just simply don't want to write novels anymore. I think Smelling Roses was the book of my heart, and I felt called to write it, but I don't feel call to continue writing books. 
          
          I love writing. It is a passion of mine, but I honestly....I think I want to make movies. Smelling Roses is literally the movie I needed to see at the time, but writing screenplays is hard and getting them off the ground is nearly impossible, so I wrote a novel. And I thought I loved writing novels. But, I don't.
          
          Not to turn this into my therapy sessions, but I've grown a lot over the past year and I want to dream bigger. That's what Smelling Roses is all about. Not limiting yourself.
          
          I'm going on hiatus for the time being. I will come back to give you my Kira Yukimura fanfic, but I think after that, I'll be done. I'm sorry to write one book and leave, but I truly don't think this is my passion anymore. 
          
          Thank you for all the love and support. Who knows, maybe I'll make a movie one day or maybe I'll make more books. I'm not sure, but I'm following this new path with excitement and determination.
