Hello my amazing readers, I'm making this announcement to everyone who is invested in The Primitive King. Unfortunately, I've discovered through my own interest in the genre that TPK is eerily similar to some other books that I've now read and perhaps have read in the past. I'll be honest, after reading thousands of books on here and Inkitt I've probably taken a piece of each of those books and authors to inspire and model my writing/plot generation. I never want to put out unoriginal content, or anything that I feel is not 100% from my own imagination. Due to this, I've decided to put the book on a temporary hold. I'll be redesigning the layout, editing the existing plot, and adding in other elements to further its originality. I recommend that everyone re-read it once I take it off hold, and I intend to do so exactly 1 month from today. I'll release the last chapters of the book along with all of the edited chapters, so please have patience with me! Hold me to my deadline of 2/21/22 because I want to improve for you guys above all else! I'm sorry to anyone who this disappoints, I understand if you want to give up on the book and its characters after such dramatic plot changes and edits. I only hope that one day in the future I can pump out chapters and books with the best of them! In the meantime, practice practice practice!
