Story from my childhood: when I was 5, my parents took me to the beach. It’s about 2.5 hours by car from where we live. First time, just the 3 of us, without my teenage sister. We spent the entire day there. It was fun, although I knew I annoyed them. What can I say... I was a talkative kid! When the evening came, my mom got changed, then sent me to change clothes. While I was gone, my parents packed our bags and left. When I came back, they were gone, our bags were gone, our towels were gone. I was left all alone with the sunset. My parents got home, ate, showered, got ready to sleep. And then my sister asked why I was so quiet, was I already sleeping? Then my parents realized I wasn’t home. They started searching. I was nowhere to be found. After about an hour of searching, they remembered that the last time they saw me was on the beach. So they got in the car and went back. It was dark already. They found me sitting on the beach, looking at the sea. I spent almost 7 hours there! Since then, I have always followed someone I came with, so they don’t leave me.
