Okay, okay. I don't know if there's already a story out there or not, but I was thinking of something I'd like to read. . . . Here's a rough idea. So, let's say this man (late twenties, maybe early thirties) is apart of a large criminal agency he was born into (his father was the head of it, or whatever, and he's expected to follow in his dad's footsteps). He was assigned his first spying mission when was . . . thirteen(? Sounds good to me). He was ordered to stalk a girl and her (rich) family. He has been spying on this girl/woman (probably better to have her in her late teens or early twenties for this story) for pretty much her whole life for whatever reason (Maybe because they need to get to her rich father for criminal reasons? I really don't know. The point is, they're not directly targeting her.), and he grew infatuated with her, developing a great love for her and a greater lust for her. Even after he was assigned other spying jobs, he still kept an eye on her. One day, he decides he can't take it anymore, and he approaches her. One reason could be that his constant longing for her got the best of him, and the other could be the fact that the girl/woman is chronically ill (could be a common disease, like cancer, but I think a rarer illness would be better here) and the man knows she doesn't have much time left. And then, of course, the rest of the story fans out and they fall in love and whatnot. But I was thinking she would die at the end, just to give the story an extra emotional twist.

Of course, when he began all this at age thirteen, he was extremely innocent, but as he continued to grow in the business, he became more and more ruthless. And I know I've been kind of showing this story from the man's point of view, but I think it'd be better from her's, which means she wouldn't know anything about his past until he tells her. I've also said that her family is rich; I don't mean the snobby kind. She's a nice girl. In addition, I like a book with some action, so this would include some mature content. I don't know if that's too cliché or what, and all the gaps would have to be filled in by the author. So, if you know a book with this plot or a decent author who could write it, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me. Thanks!
