And within a minute of my previous post, I get a fucking scammer on chapter 1 of "Blood of Dragons". Just to reinforce my point more perfectly than anything I could write.

So, it's been an interesting 3 months on Wattpad and I've come to a decision. 
          
          Simply put, this site has got a significant amount of issues and almost seems hostile to new writers, let alone writers who write 'off-meta' works. (which seems to be anything that isn't billionaire werewolf romances or the like.)
          
          I have been uploading my stories with the assumption that Wattpad was a good place for Fanfic to grow and gain readers but the data suggests that's only for fanfics related to the meta. Mine, sadly do not match and therefore I have received nothing but near constant barrages from scammers and bots on a daily basis. The tiny, tiny literal handful of 'readers' I have gained have almost exclusively been through R4Rs, V4Vs, etc and even attempting to go through bookclubs and the like haven't made any marked difference. 
          
          My stories and this site are not suitable for each other. On other sites, especially RoyalRoad I have gained dozens of organic readers with a literal fraction (single digits!) of scammers. Wattpad just isn't a place for actual novels or my style of stories and so I'm going to be moving on. 
          
          My updates for my chapters of "Blood of Dragons" will continue at the current rate of 3 chapters a week and will take until the end of Jan 2026 before completion. (Yes, my stories are *that* big)
          
          Dealing with scammers several times on a goddamned daily basis, the limited ability to get my stories out there and better alternatives is really giving me no other choice. If anyone does come across my stuff in the future and enjoys it, check my profile and track me down elsewhere. I have over a million words of content for my Elder Scrolls stuff alone, with plans on writing something original in the near-distant future. 
          
          For the handful of writers who follow me, you guys have got some amazing talent. If you feel like you are shouting into the void just know it isn't you, its this site that is not supportive of us.

Blood of Dragons is still going strong as we get through the first of the 'larger' stories in the omnibus, but I also thought to share its even got a new series cover that I think looks awesome and is a lot more suitable than the previous one. 
          
          And while I'm still very limited in terms of readers, at least it seems the hordes of bots are slowing compared to what they were a couple of weeks ago. I'm trying to keep positive at least. haha.

Your books look good

The latest story part within my "Blood of Dragons" Omnibus has begun. "The Dead don't Weep" is the first of several flashbacks in the Omnibus, looking back 25 years to the time of the Great War between the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion. 
          
          So far the first couple of stories have been exclusively more on the 'fun' side with the introduction of the chaos gremlin of the series; Sofia and her and Kaius' early adventures together. Adventures that have included having drinks with the daedric (demonic) prince of revelry and excess, Sanguine, going toe-to-toe with a dragon and of course, a chapter inspired by the sword fight scene from "The Princess Bride". 
          
          Now though its time for a bit of raw emotion and feelings, of loss and tragedy to make the future humour and victories all that much sweeter.

G'day all my awesome followers (except the dozen or so bots and scammers still clinging to me like a virus) 
          
          My secondary 'Omnibus' series - "Blood of Dragons" is now fully set up for steady and consistent release for the coming months. This 'story' is a series of 17 linked fictions, ranging from 3,000 word short stories, to an immense 70,000 word novel and is going to be receiving new chapters every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until it is uploaded in its entirety. 
          
          For any of those of my followers who are real people, fellow authors or not I would love some help and would love some help getting 'readers' who aren't trying to scam me in one way or another. "Blood of Dragons" is some of my best work and I guarantee that you'll experience a full swathe of emotions reading through it! You'll laugh, you'll probably cry and you will be satisfied when various bad guys get their glorious comeuppance!

G'day all. This is an announcement that I have just started the slow release of my latest Series "Blood of Dragons" 
          
          Like my recent "Bloodtide Rising" Omnibus this one is going to be a complete series of Novellas, Novelettes, and a Novel totalling just over 275,000 words once it's completely uploaded. It is a finished series and exists in its entirety on Ao3, however I will be doing a slow release on here over the coming months in an attempt to get around the absolutely terrible algorithms and processes on this site and maybe, just maybe spread my stories around. 
          
          So, if you're looking for a fantasy epic with dragons, vampires  humour and characters I guarantee you'll love I'd recommend checking it out. Even if it's not your thing, please help me get it out there and seen by more than the hordes of scammers that exist on here.
