          mika took in a shaky breath , gazing over and up at the other ..   they listened to what he had to say ,  a soft frown crossing their features as they took in all he had to say ; being used .  that was something they had firsthand experience with on a daily ..  " i know exactly what you mean . . . " they spoke up in a small voice ..  " i let people use me everyday — for stupid stuff .  like stealing snacks for them or turning random objects invisible .  it makes me feel important, even if it doesn't last . . . the way people treat you , it isn't right ..   our species is a flawed and selfish one ..  you need to find people who appreciate , respect and genuinely care about you all the time..
