I try to do what I can. 
Neither righteous, neither demonic. Just me, just Uche Ohanwe.
As vile as the rest, your regular ol' human.

I hope existence recognises my view of our lil human condition.

Things I Like
I like dogs. I like cats.
I like chocolate. I like ice cream.
I love eggs. I love egg yolks.
I love tinned fish of all kinds-though I'm not a fan of catfish.

I like good food.
Stinky, smelly, fermented food? Yes.
Kidneys and heart? Favourite cuts.
Goat head? That's my culture.
Then abacha. Then pounded yam and egusi.
I love suya.
Favourite part of chicken? The neck.

My favourite foreign cuisines:
British, Chinese, Italian, French, American, Thai, Peruvian.
I love German bratwurst-especially in a baguette,
with onions, mayo, ketchup, mustard.
Very nice. Try it if you can.

I like people.
I hope people like me.
I hope people like my work.

My taste in friends? Principled.
Not too serious, but able to hold me to task.
I try to be a good friend, a good brother, a good son.

Night Immata-not my first work,
but my only published one (for now).
