POV: You’re lying on the floor, warm tears stained your face. Your cheeks, hot. Your eyes, red and puffy. You couldn’t handle it anymore. You had no strength left, no energy to get up. You didn’t quite want to get up. You lost hope. Faith. You stagger a breath, you know your time has come. You only wish you could’ve spent your last moments with someone who cared. A final tear falls from you eye, you watch it hit the floor as you take your last breath.
You pull yourself up from the ground, you feel cold. Colder than before. That’s when you notice. Death emerged from the shadows of the room. And she, was absolutely beautiful. A soft, kind smile finds her lips as she looks upon you, before pulling you into a tight hug. Her touch is like silk, soft and caring, yet delicate and rich. You cry into her shoulder as she strokes your hair and rubs your back. “It’s okay.” She whispers in a hushed voice with such care. “You’re home now.” She pulls away and caresses your cheek which is still damp. You smile and lean into her touch. You look up and notice how the moonlight hits her gorgeous face. Her honey brown eyes looking into your now dead and empty eyes. You watch as she summons a rose with a flick of her wrist. The flower floats over to your body that you didn’t even notice. She walks over to it and crouches down to gently shut your eyelids. “You did good.” She smiles. “I’m proud of how long you lasted. Now lets go, we have more to pick up on the way back home.” Home. The word sounded oddly comforting coming from her. You notice she has her hand out. You take it with a soft smile on your lips. Yeah. Home. With that, you allow death to take you, as she pulls you into the shadows, and whisks you away... home.
