SO....one of my friends just reached out to me about something and i was wondering what you guys think i should do. So my friends name is Onyxgem (username on quotev, im not gonna name drop them without their permission)
          
          And Onyx has a fanfic...a harry potter fanfic. 
          OBVIOUSLY we DO NOT like or support JKR, but they were the one that inspired me to release To the Moon and Back. 
          
          Onyx doesn't have a wattpad account and doesn't really want one, but wants their story on wattpad. 
          
          So they asked if I would Publish it under my account, while giving them full credit.
          
          What do you guys think? I feel awkward about posting something harry potter related whether its mine or not, but I don't want to let a friend down. 
          
          Not to mention they have bigger time gaps than i do in updating. 7 months for a 20 page chapter. Since they started the fic in their prime harry potter phase and are slowly falling out of it, they only update when they get a spark of inspiration.
          
          Because of this Onyx is insecure about even sharing their story here.
          
          So, here i am looking for advice, what would you guys do?

Hello everyone! So, update on the chapter.....its.....LONG..to say the least. 
          I know i said they were getting long already, but this one is 99 pages on google docs AND ITS NOT EVEN FINISHED. 
          
          I'm making the executive decision of releasing it in parts for that reason.
          
          The reasons its this long are:
          1. Technically its two episodes, Lighting in a Bottle and In Good Hands. So I'm mixing and matching from both transcripts which has been a nightmare.
          2. Deciding who to focus on; since the transcripts are long and all I've had to focus on the main group and Cyra for most of the chapter. So the Varvatos, Steve, and Chompsky stuff has been cut (so far, i might do another chapter for just that stuff).
          3. Original content; its a personal pet peeve of mine when 
                   a. the OC just steels lines and is there only to be a love interest. 
                   b. When the OC barely changes the plot, it feels like im reading the show with an extra side character.
          
          To combat this i try and make Cyra a fleshed out character with her own drive, so I have to write a lot of original scenes along with the cannon. 
          4. The character dynamics this chapter are TOUGH, its Jim, Toby, Claire, AND Aja, and Krel that Cyra has to be around. Things are getting complicated. 
          5. External factors of: i have a life outside of writing (the horror)
          
          All this to say, I love you all very much (platonically) and I thank you for your attention and time when it comes to this fic. I would have stopped a long time ago if it wasn't for you.

As i'm writing the next chapter I've been wondering something. Do you guys like when i specify who the scene is following? I started doing it since i would sometimes get lost when writing and needed the reminder, but now that I'm getting more confident I'm not sure if I still need to do it. So I'm asking, do any of you find it helpful and want it, or should I stop with the specification?

All I am wondering is HOW THE HELL you are supposed to finish this book before 3 below gets removed from Netflix the 21st of July 

When are we getting the next chapter im gonna die without it

          Hello, I have good news. The next chapter is written and ready to be published. Bad news, it's over 70 pages on Google Docs (18,139 words). For reference, the longest chapter before this was 44.3 pages (13,721 words). I wanted to know if you would rather I publish this in one LONG part or split it into 2 parts? I will give one week for people to comment on what they would rather I do; the majority vote will count. If no one responds, then I will have to make another A/N chapter, where if no one responds, the answer will be one long chapter.  If 2 parts are chosen, they will both be published the same day, but won't be immediately after 1 week, since I have to split them and make sure it still sounds good. If 1 part is chosen, it will be either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday when it is published, since next week is opening and I will be very busy and may forget. In the event a week goes by, and I haven't published it, that doesn't mean any comments will be accepted unless it's a tie breaker.

So… how does everyone feel about the new Avatar movie and the leaks?
          
          Personally, I love the Avatar series. Avatar: The Last Airbender has been one of my favorite shows since the first time I watched it. I’ve probably seen it 20+ times. The Legend of Korra isn’t as strong as the original in my opinion, but it’s still great. I’ve read most of the comics, haven’t gotten to the Kyoshi books yet, and haven’t played many of the games, but this world means a lot to me.
          
          So when I heard about a new movie, I was over the moon excited.
          
          Then the leaks happened.
          
          I don’t mind small leaks or teaser clips if they’re intentional that’s a relatively good marketing strategy. But leaking what seems like almost the entire movie? That’s wild. And then pulling it from theaters because they’re worried people won’t like it just makes everything more confusing.
          
          What really bothers me is people watching the leaks and then saying they won’t support the official release. Studios don’t see “people watched the leak.” They see “no one showed up.” No streaming numbers means it failed.
          
          And if it “fails,” that can seriously hurt the chances of getting more Avatar content in the future. Movies, shows, books, games all depend on people actually supporting the release.
          
          The spoilers are another issue. People are posting edits and scenes everywhere, ruining it for fans who want to wait. We all know how much it sucks to get spoiled, so it’s frustrating to see fans doing that to each other.
          
          From what I’ve seen, the movie actually looks really good. I’m still excited for it, which makes this whole situation even worse.
          
          At the end of the day, if you love Avatar and want more content, the best way to show that is by supporting the official release.
          
          These are just my thoughts. I’m not attacking anyone, I just don’t want to see something I love lose its future because of this.
