Hey guys! I’m sure many of you noticed that I removed my works recently, and I feel like I owe you all an explanation. I took everything down because for so long, I was writing for someone other than myself. I was writing for the sake of views and comments and reads. I was writing fanfiction because it was easy to write and get out there to people, to get my “name” out and to be seen. But secretly, I hated writing fanfictions. Part of me did it for pride and pride alone - I craved the attention that came with it, and though it did ultimately help me become a better writer over all through the encouragement I received to keep on writing, I feel I stunted my own growth by doing so.
          
          When you write, you should write first and foremost for yourself and the people you care about most. You have a voice, and it deserves to be heard, whoever you may be. Writers write because there’s something inside them that dares to be released. Something lives within people like us to create something beautiful and wonderful, some small slice of truth wrapped in a story or a poem or a history - or whatever else you decide to write.
          
          So I want to start over. I haven’t yet decided if I’ll start over with this account, or if I’ll re-publish everything I took down and start anew with another account, but I want to start over. I want to let myself breathe and be free to write whatever I’m led to write and say what I’m led to say. I’ll be sure to tell you all what I decide once my decision is made.
          
          That being said, I can’t thank all of you enough for following me on this journey so far. I’ve had this account for years, and it’s helped me break out of my box and venture into greater things. I can’t thank you enough for all of your support, your kind words, the votes - all of it. Thank you. All of you.
