So, funny story. My book got stolen on amazon... and- TeenFic?
I was searching my tag on google when I found that stuff on amazon. Just so you know, no... That was not me who uploaded it. Neither did I give permission for anyone else even upload it. Any screenshots or blurbs you may see regarding 'me' giving permission is false. As I do not talk to anybody online or irl regarding my wattpad unless it's for sending class notes organized in bulk. I'm too tired right now so I am afraid I may say something perhaps- immature for my age. I also have homework im procrastinating on for this.
So I say this passive aggressively to the one who uploaded and plans to profit off my work.
'Good job, are you proud of yourself? What type of person are you to steal a child's book and profit off it without their permission? I'm not even getting a share of that crap give some to me please???'
This issue tends to be rather common it seems for fan fiction writers, and it feels really shitty as the author. Don't support or buy books you suspect to be stolen fan fiction, and go support the writers who worked hard to deliver you the content.
From now on, I'll somehow be dropping in personal tags and notes randomly in the story as smoothly as possible as a even more passive aggressive remark as the original author and will be taking as much legal action as I can with the help of some friends if it's not taken down by then. To say the least, it may hold empty threats now. But I'm determined.
Thank you, have a nice day.
