After receiving some feedback, I have added an introductory chapter to Exposition in hopes of making the story more engaging from the first few pages. Let me know what you guys think of this new addition. I personally am actually quite fond of it even though I was hesitant about writing it.
          
          I am giving the draft of Exposition I have right now another editing pass. After that, I will update all 37 chapters of Exposition to fix any mistakes I missed in the first five edits.
          
          I now have a YouTube channel I will be uploading to. It will contain much more than Sonata, but the first few videos will be Sonata related. I hope to use it as a place for people to get more insights into my writing, provide feedback, access personally recorded audiobooks of my writing, provide more stories, and overall be a place to grow my hobby. It will be linked in a future announcement when I have more content uploaded.

Hello, I have changed my name. I was once TofuKiwi, but I am now _LemonsDropped and my pen name is LemonDrop.
          
          I am also going to be self-publishing through Amazon in the future. Sonata should be available on Kindle at some point and I do not know how that will affect Sonata's availability on Wattpad. My original intention was to self-publish on Amazon and use Wattpad as a motivation to finish Sonata. While I am not a fan of it, the later parts of Sonata may be removed and only the beginning available as a preview of the work. I will think long and hard about how to share my writing. I do not understand self-publish very well right now, but I plan to have five books in the Sonata series, one for each part. I also plan to have them go for $5 USD each. As of right now, nothing will be removed from Wattpad. I do not believe there is a large overlap of people who will skirt Kindle to read it here for free, so be sure to enjoy Sonata!
          
          I recently graduated college and am now in the workforce. Partially due to the pandemic, I am not as financially stable as I would like to be. I want to provide free content for anyone and everyone to read, but as it stands, I may not be able to balance writing with work if I have to change jobs. This is the largest factor contributing to a change from Wattpad to self-publishing through Amazon.
          
          If anyone is interested in being a free beta reader for Sonata, send me a DM and we can work out a way for you to read each part of Sonata and help give me feedback before I make it available on Amazon. I really do need feedback and editing help for anyone and everyone who is willing.
          
          I have a potential YouTube channel I want to start for the purpose of writing and reviewing, so be sure to check back for more information on that.

I have published the introduction of my next work, Memento Memoria, a novel I considered to be the complete opposite of Quasi una Sonata. While I first and foremost consider Memento Memoria to be a psychological horror, it leans into the crime thriller and detective mystery elements heavily too. Give the introduction a read and let me now what you think! All feedback is appreciated!
          
          I am not sure right now if I intend upload all of the novel on Wattpad, I can be easily swayed if it seems to be gaining traction. To that extent, let me know if you like what you read and possibly tell a friend to check it out too!

Rejoice those of you still interested in Quasi una Sonata! I will be delivering a gift, wrapped in a nice, neat bow, of 30 new chapters tomorrow to complete the story. Thank you all for your support and be sure to give the story a read once all of the chapters are released now that Quasi una Sonata is complete.

Editing update: I changed the names of the chapters following Exposition: Chapter Thirty-Six (37-50). This section has been changed to encompass the second part of the story, Transition, which more chapters will be added soon. Sorry for any confusion!

Sorry guys, I am unfortunately behind schedule. I set the 1st as my deadline and I am nowhere close to that (about 70,000 more words to go). I am still working to finish Quasi una Sonata before the 30th, but it will be close. Still no new chapters will be released until the rest is finished in my draft, sorry for lagging behind. Thank you all for your support!

Sorry! No new chapters today of Quasi una Sonata. Currently, the plan is to release the remaining chapters of Exposition (37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, and 50) at the same time when they are all edited, which will be either Wednesday or next Sunday at the latest. Once part one is fully released, I will most likely be taking a hiatus until September 1st to grind out the next two parts in a draft. I hope to have Sonata completed by September 30th, but that is a tall order on top of some personal things I need to get done in the next few months (I'm supposed to give a piano recital soon). Thank you for all the support I have received up to this point and I hope you guys keep reading and enjoying Quasi una Sonata!

Quasi una Sonata chapters 34, 35, and 36 are published! I took a little more time to release them, but I was able to  add a bit more to chapter 34 which felt a bit too short for my taste. I think this trio of chapters is my favorite and I hope you guys like them as much as I do!

          I forgot to make a message yesterday! Yesterday was one month since I started editing and uploading Quasi una Sonata to Wattpad and I wanted to thank everyone who has given my a follow, vote, comment, or just read a chapter or just a part of a chapter. It means so much to me and keeps me motivated to keep working on the story! I hope Quasi una Sonata maintains the same level of quality as I move into newer sections and ultimately wrap the story up in the coming months.
          
          Today is Wednesday so expect three more chapters, one relatively short and two huge chapters compared to the previous ones (Sorry! Had a lot to write I guess), so stay tuned for those to be published later in the day. After today, we're only 13 chapters from the end of part one, Exposition!
