Hi, I found your profile through your fanart of Y/N from Miraculous (he even became the look of my Y/N and kind of became an OC lol) but I wanted to ask you how long you've been drawing? I'm a beginner and I've been drawing for about 2 years, and I really want to start making fanart, but my skills are terrible lol

@Underc0verRe4der Thank you so much, I'll keep trying the traditional way and only do small things digitally to get used to it. I'm going through a period of demotivation, but thank you so much for your support. I hope to reach your level someday.

@Unini200 I suggest that you stick with traditional drawing first when you are still learning. Traditional art helps you become more mindful of your work since there’s no “undo” button. If you start with digital you might rely too much on shortcuts and tools, like what I mentioned, there's no undo button, or layers that you can draw different drafts on and just delete later on, or tools that can make your work clean. Don't rush into digital drawing just yet. Practicing on digital is fine but your main learning should still be using the traditional method to build your skill. I know that learning is a bit boring but you will see big improvements soon. And adding to my source of learning, @angelganev in tiktok gives really good tips in what to improve while he "fixes" his fans drawings. I am rooting for you. Keep practicing and one day, you will reach your goal!

Thank you so much, I'm very dissatisfied with my own progress, but you're right, I'll keep going. These past few weeks I've been practicing more lines because I want to leave the traditional method and go digital, but I'm still terrible. But everything you said, I'll try to push myself harder. Thank you so much, I really needed that.
