Question to all writers out there: When faced with a fresh new idea for a story that's waay out of your usual genre, what do you do? I'm asking since we always talk about 'branding' and 'targeting your target audience' and stuff. Do you carry on writing the story? Do you add elements to it that will make it seem more 'in your alley'? Or do you just write it under another pen name? Thanks for helping this troubled writer out!

ALAS I AM BACK. Summer break is starting and I am more set on my goals than ever, thank you Lord. I plan on revamping HHW, as in a complete rewrite of it (settings, characters, the whole premise...might have changed) ehe...though I doubt anyone would be that bothered anyway...But this is a new start! I wrote that version of HHW on a whim, I knew absolutely nothing about writing, and I would like to rewrite it and try to make the potential in it shine, so maybe um, stay tuned for more updates?! I'm going to try my best to be more active here <3
