"You sound like a pirate," U/n mused silently, pushing the thoughts away by her pull to the present.

"No, I am a treasure hunter,' Philia adamantly remarked, fixing him with an intense stare as if daring him to refute her.

          "Pirate."

          "Treasure Hunter."

          "Pirate."

"I. Am. A. Treasure. Hunter." Philia huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. "I am not a pirate. You have no idea what I am talking about."

"You look for treasure and steal the treasure," U/n said, unbothered. "It sounds like a pirate. You, Philia, are a pirate, and you don't even know it."

"I am not a pirate!" Philia snapped, stomping her foot.

Rain and Philia watched the interaction keenly, switching from looking at Calina to U/n when each spoke. Rushing straight past her, Rain watched in astonishment as U/n raced down the corridor and obliterated the group of skeletons. He was a force of nature. He never slowed down, never hesitated, and did not back down. He swung the sword in his hand with such ferocity it was terrifying. The power, speed and precision behind his strikes tore through the skeletons and their dangling armour, weapons and shields in hand in mere seconds.

U/n turned his gaze from the ceiling to his right, resting his face against the cold marble floor as his eyes searched for the source of the noise. His eyes met hazel. Nothing was said in the seconds that followed, allowing silence to befall the room as they simply stared at each other. It might have been a short silence or a long one; U/n didn’t know for sure, but when one of them did break away from the other’s eyes, it was because of a loud screech from the borders of the room.
