So, I saw the J short and uh… that definitely throws the thought J didn’t know out the window lol. I do like how it further expanded on the dynamic of the squad though, something we missed dearly in the show given how fast the plot had to chug along, seeing this moment of the disassembly drones before meeting Uzi, gave nice insight.
At the same time, it also hit me my react fic is essentially non-canon aligned now so… ah well. Whatever. I’ll just chug along this train I’m halfway through with the Intermission Reaction as a bit of a in-between moment of character development with SD-V, and once again all my knowledge has been turned on it’s head as now I am once again wondering… so, did V know everything or only some things? As it appears she was told by J, and J was told by Cyn. Hmm. As V did seem to suggest an apt plan, feign a retreat to bait out the worker drones. But J shot it down since, I guess Cyn would have assumed they were abandoning their mission and by extension the deal. Regardless of it being a clever strategy or not I guess Cyn isn’t one to really take excuses at least from J’s reaction.
But damn, there went my vain hope J didn’t know prior to the pilot lmao. She knew, as did V to a degree though it seems V wasn’t privy to the specifics per say and N just never questioned anything accepting the reasons as reasonable.
I stared off into the sunset for a bit wondering how I’d take the react fic from there given this revelation though. I do got a rough draft of how I want the events to go, and I don’t quite want to discard that to try and ham-fist such a change now... that and... trying to edit 120k+ words is more demoralizing than I thought. So I'll just chug it along, get a chapter out for that before the summer's end. Hopefully.
@UnknownG11 jesus. yeah i dont think it matters to try and change the entire characters personalities because of something you thought didnt happen. you should just keep going with your version of the characters, and if it bothers you so much do a rewrite after you've finished

@KingJosumSumadia Mmm, not for a while, been busy with university assignments these past few months so not a lot of work has been done. Though my coursework is going to be lightening up soon, so progress will be made. I don't have a date on when it's going to come out though. Hopefully before Summer. Though I'm going to try and tackle a sort of bonus chapter reaction to Intermission as well. That one's going to be posted before the EP5 reaction, that much I can say with confidence.

@PhantomEnderman Yep, and since some folks want me to write a reaction to it. I decided, might as well. Although it'll be specified as some slight timeline deviation. Since it doesn't quite fit with the rest of the show exact'o.
Next chapter is nearly done, just proofreading before uploading the chapter to the react fic now.

@PhantomEnderman Most likely yes, after EP8 in an epilogue chapter to keep the timeline of events linear in how they're shown. Showing that before EP5 or EP6 would be, odd. So it'll be la finale, hopefully I'll get around to punching out chapters faster. Should be faster this time around, I think I got a good understanding of the events in the show, sans a few errors I'll fix.

@PhantomEnderman It was quite an amazing and unexpected surprise. Loved it, even if the song wasn't quite my style, I hadn't expected it to be so well animated, felt like a mini episode more than a music video lol. Superb quality from Glitch and Tombstone.
I am still alive! Sorry for a lack of, proper response. Currently the react fic's progress for the next chapter is give or take 70-80% done. Currently in the middle of writing out the drones reacting to Uzi's murderous rampage and V confronting her. So not that much left to write. Had a bit of a delay due to some adjustments to my schedule, related to university and family. Lord have mercy, group projects, my WEAKNESS. But on the bright side said group projects aren't too intricate, but oh man picking up the slack when one or two members peace out of existence is certainly frustrating to say the least lol.
