Find me drinking a truly ludicrous amount of black coffee, tending mushrooms in a misty wood, or skulking along a dark and deserted highway. (Perhaps all three at once.)
I love atmospheric literature, fairytales and retellings--the ambient and the grotesque in equal measure.  
My writing is greatly influenced by my love of horror, folklore, and ancient history.
