@ThatsMariDanae Because you know how when you get a notification that someone commented on your comment? When you go to click on it, it doesn't take you to the comment, it takes you to the part of the story or near where you commented and it's sooo annoying

Okay so, in all seriousness, ya'll got to stop flash voting each chapter of someone's story, and then expect them to read yours.
Of course votes are appreciated but, I could never take it upon myself to flash through each chapter of someone's story, just to vote on something I never even took the time to read.
I actually take the time to read it, comment, then vote at the end.
You will know if I enjoyed your story cause I'll have your notifs flying off the charts with comments, likes, and even a shoutout on my message board. I don't play about the hard work I see most of us underrated writers on Wattpad put out there. I can tell the dedication it takes, and I wouldn't dare disrespect that by not even giving it a read but voting on each chapter as if I did. Makes no sense to me.
Personally, I know by the first chapter if I am not going to enjoy a story. In that case, I will leave my vote on the chapter I've read, and then keep it pushing. But I could neverrr flash vote my followers work then ask for them to read mine. It just don't work like that for me.
With that being said, actually take the time to read through your followers work. Get to know the characters. Give feedback if need be. Some stories will surprise you. But if you feel like it's just not your cup of tea, respectfully keep it moving

i see this all of the time on my most popular books (currently with Church Girl) like i love the votes but when you voting on every chapter within 5 minutes, it gets annoying! I 100% agree with you on every last word.
