Uroboros José is an author who writes because he enjoys it and publishes because stories are meant to be read.
He is 46 years old, married, and the father of a son - which perhaps explains why themes of family separation, parental guilt, and the cost of compliance find their way so naturally into his fiction.
His favourite genre is dystopian fiction, a tradition he has been reading since long before he started contributing to it. Corporative Nation is his fourth published work and his most ambitious - a multi-volume series set in a future that feels, on most days, closer than it should.
The series began with a simple question: what does an ordinary person do when the system that controls everything is also the only thing keeping their family alive? The answer, it turns out, takes more than one book to tell.
