So... I literally binged the 1st book... and man, i never thought i could have so many emotions reading about fictional characters. Your writing is exquisite, true talent right there. Thank you ! It was exactly the escape I needed. Please keep writing, please publish something! Your writing needs to be read by the whole world. Keep it up, I'll definitely be looking out for more stories from you !

DEAR UROPIA,
you have ruined loads of fanfictions because of how basic they are to me.
YOUR WRITING IS JUST...AHHHHHHHHH! I WISH I COULD INHALE IT!
Aitl and pitd are two of my favourite books. PERIOD. i love them so much and they hold a very special place in my heart.
I read your first book ON HOLIDAY, WHEN I SHOULD'VE RESTING FOR THE HOURS OF WALKING I'D HAVE TO DO, I SPENT THAT TIME READING YOUR FIRST BOOK OF THE SERIES, AITD.
I HAVE STAYED UP HOURS ON END, I HAVE SLEPT UNTIL 3PM BECAUSE OF YOUR MASTER PIECES.

when i say i would pay anything to reread your books with no memory of what happened in them, i mean it, i truly do.
Because your books have me in a CHOKEHOLD!
the road jamie has been on in the book, everything she went through and everything thats thrown at her - and she survived.
          IS SO INSPIRING TO ME!
Your books make me giggle and kick my feet.
IDK ABOUT THE REST OF YALL, BUT THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTEN.

and can we just appreciate the life-like features you add to your books-

          SPOILER!!

especially when she was in the prison and what happened to her after having her fingers broken.

MOST BOOKS WOULD SKIP THAT AND MAKE THE MC TOUGH.
BUT OMG, YOUR WRITING JUST MAKES ME TRANSFORM INTO A NEW WORLD - and i truly LOVE that.

Everytime i read a new COD fanfic, its always too plain for me and i just cannot get into it.
mainly because, the way you portray ghost and the way you write your books is something I crave, something i adore and something I have become used to?

I really do hope one day I could write like you could!
          I love your work, Uropia.
          Please never stop writing.

Remember to eat, drink, sleep and shower....MOST OF ALL, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

          From Ev! :)

Also, thank you for saying all this. I love all y’all for even taking the time to read my story, I never thought it would become so beloved.

Gosh, this made my morning! I feel undeserving of such praise. I appreciate that you like the humanistic realism of my writing, I wanted to create a story that felt gritty, almost gross…because it exemplified Jamie’s desire for revenge and for her lashing out. My big belief is the moments that stay with us are tiny, while the grand scheme of life blurs together. One may remember going meet a friend for coffee, but will fixate on the barista’s fingers touching theirs. Strange but real. Those little things are what make a story realistic.

I love your work, everything about it so just, shef kiss~
Honestly I don't really know how to tell you all the things I like, it's very rare for me to enjoy someone's work this much. But I do want you to know that you have a talent, a skill that you've honed and toiled over and improved and it shows in how well you write.

But what gets me more than the great dialogue and descriptions, or how your scenes play out. Or that the characters and situations feel so unbelievably real, and grounded. It's the plot. And yes I know the games are a big part of it, but to integrate a whole new character with their own story so well is phenomenal.

I'm honestly in shock. And I have to ask how you've gone about making the plot line? The sequence of events and leaving breadcrumbs of information and detail? How? Is it even possible for another human to achieve such continuity?

I really do hope, to an extent you feel proud of your work, skill and dedication. You definitely have an amazing opportunity to make even better stories, I just know it.

@Uropia4172 Thank you for explaining your processes, I love hearing how people create what they do. It's always unique to them, you definitely have a good way to plan and I admire it.
While I agree that the scene directors and writers have done an amazing job, some of the best in the industry some would argue. It isn't easy to do what you've done. I believe, I could in confidence say your work is a part of the top ten present of stories here.
For what it's worth I do believe you have an unbelievably promising future writing original works; if that's something you decide to do. Let's just say I'll be excited to read anything else you decide to publish.

@ciaoftheion also, I would be nothing without the backbone of the games plot lines. I give all the credit to the creators at Activision and Infinity Ward for developing these plot lines… while I appreciate all the love from the people who have read my writing, it is the creators of the game that deserve the praise.

Oh gosh, this brought me so much joy to read. Well, throughout the couple of years I’ve been writing this the plot line has changed behind the scenes about 1000 times. I have a big whiteboard that I put all my ideas on, then I erase and change to keep things flowing smoothly. My rules are 1. End every chapter with a scene that leaves the reader wanting more and 2. Never do exactly what the reader would expect you to do. It makes things more difficult, but it’s worth it. Jamie’s character was born after a horrendous break up I went through, I was incredibly angry all the time and I wanted to develop an FMC who I could channel that anger through. I kinda thought “I want to build the toughest and meanest FMC possible… what should I throw at her to make her that way?” SA, prior military, revenge driven, tough father figure, loyal, and intolerant of bullshit. Mirror image of Ghost, it made their chemistry easy to write.

Seriously, it's just THAT GOOD that it ruined other books for me. I've tried picking up quite a few since then and they just feel fucking bland, or they're okay but it stops there. I feel the difference. I HATE YOU

Each chapter that was closer to the end had me dreading it, feeling the impending doom that was about to go through meeee. And when I finally finished it I just didn't quite know what to do with myself for a solid week. Like, how do you top that?

Now that I'm pondering it, the fact that I was new to Modern Warfare and basically knew nothing of it probably made the experience that much vivid for me as I had no knowledge of the storyline and shit, just basic knowledge of the 141, good on me!
It makes me think that if you were to change names and relatables and such, ya could probably have it published... It's worthy of it. Sure, it'd be some work to work around all the obvious parts that make it COD©️... But I believe it's very much achievable!

The only things that I can think of even tho it's really not that big of a deal, is that maybe I would've loved to hear more about Gaz throughout the story? Have him more included, Price too? Jamie's mom aswell? But that's my very detail-seeking brain speaking.

Also, the TW's at like every begginning of the chapters are sooo telling, it kinda takes away the surprise effect. I try to scroll over it but sometimes my eyes would catch a few words then i wouldn't be able to stop myself and I'd just read the entire warning.
That's on me for not being to totally skip over them.

Well, I think that's all for now. It took me a good hour to write all that and try to not sound out of my mind (I probably failed! ).

I've recommended your books to those whom i know would be interested, and I'm waiting for literally anything else from you. If you got something to throw at us, please do! I'm sure I'm not the only one longing for more.

          Okay, love you, bye

          WAT, out

You message is a blessing to me, love. Everything you said truly inspires me. I began this journey to fill time after a seriously messy break up, I never thought it would turn into something more. The fact that anyone takes there time to read my work flabbergasts me, I deserve none of your praise although I am deeply grateful for it. Fear not, as I plan out the next book (it’s a gonna be so long omg) I have many plans for Gaz and Price’s relationship to be explored, especially after we learn more about them and their beginnings in the prequel. That being said, I love ya. You’ve made me smile today, and I’m thankful the you have enjoyed the journey so far. I hope you stay tuned for future stories.

Uropia, (pt.1)

          Hold on ❕❕
I was about to spill my love for your books and the way you write but I see there's only one message on your page? Like, hello? Are poeple not leaving you messages?? Crazy!!

          Well, moving on.

It's been a couple of months now that I've read AITD&PITL, I've been meaning to leave you a note but just never got around to it. I thought I'd give myself the time to gather my thoughts after such a read and write a proper message buuut yeah, time went on, and I just feel like I owe it to you for FEEDING US like that, so now I'm writing, kinda messily. And I also just straight up wanna praise you, because GADDAMN THAT WAS GOOD.

So, the synopsis already had me stepping confidently in. Like, "I just KNOW this is about to be good" (tho didn't expect it to be so heavenly).
The first chapter's name had me smiling.
The first few paragraphs had me furiously kicking my feet in the air.
By the end of the first chapter, I'm pretty confident in the fact that my blood pressure had spiked.

For God's sake I have lived on these books for the almost two weeks it took me to read them. I've denied myself sleep to be able to continue reading, fallen asleep on them, ate while reading them (now that's next level).
I've smiled, cried, giggled, felt pain my veins, looked up at the invisible camera in wherever place I was reading, for two weeks.
Miss gurl, I have a report on my phone that states a 14 (FOURTEEN) hours long use of wattpad on some days, strictly toward your work. SHIT'S BEEN ANNIHILATING ME.

The way you write everything in details, whether it be scenery or emotions, the dialogs, also the page setting and shit (like it's clean and easy to read), and the never-ending chapters.... More please thank you

The way you write that exchange of energy between Ghost and Jamie, it's just FUCKING EXQUISITE- and the sex between them? God help me.

RachelAshleyMarie

Will there be anymore Jamie/ghost? Not immediately obviously but idk maybe in the future? I hope so your work is fantastic

Uropia4172

Yes, there will be on more Jamie/Ghost book to end the trilogy. Just waiting on the next MW game to come out, so in the future their story will conclude. Right now I’m writing a story based off of the first Modern Warfare game that features Price’s origins. Stay turned. And thank you ❤️
