Hey, got a new story in the works and I want your input.
The hunter of purgatory(working title)
Synopsis: Things never seem to turn out well for Jaune Arc. Sure, he belonged to a family of powerful warriors but their 'love' was twisted by duty and tradition. When he fled from the estate, he saw it as an escape, to start fresh. Of course things didn't work out in Beacon, being outed for his transcripts burned any bridges he may have had. He left on his own terms, aimlessly drifting, alone, with his dreams burned to ashes. One phone call later and he found himself under the tutelage of his mother's estranged aunt. Years later after Beacon fell, the banished Arc saving entire villages and slaying Grimm most huntsman could only hope to repel. When Ozpin told Jaune about Salem in an attempt to recruit him, the former Arc snapped. Destroying whatever semblance of meaning he had left, hope crushed underneath the weight of an enemy that could never die. He only agreed to stop Salem if it ment his sister and nephew had a chance of having a future. A series of unfortunate events later caused by Team RWBY ended with his final demise at Cinder's hands, at least he took his mentor's killer down with him.
