Hi everyone!
I know it's been forever since I talked to you all, but it has been an incredibly stressful and busy year. I'm graduating soon, I've started an internship, on top of other side quests and personal matters I have to deal with. However, I'm still writing on the side, and I just published my most personal (and favorite fic) to date.
I went and saw IVE again after 3 years last month, and in the time between the first and second concerts, I lost interest in them for a while, especially since I didn't see them on their first proper world tour. That genuinely bummed me out. It took a concert movie viewing with a friend to get closure. Fast forward to 2026, and I was more than happy to be seated at the back due to holiday shenanigans, but as the date drew closer and other K-pop stuff happened (Heeseung, Mark, Danielle), I was compelled to make an upgrade out of fear they might not come back. With just a week to go, I got my VIP and we were off to the races.
They say you resonate with things that mark important periods of your life, and to me, IVE (and Le sserafim) defined my college years. I was a freshman when they took my concert virginity, and three years + seven other shows later, I saw them again now as an incoming graduate. Not only that, I saw them with a few online friends who I have personally bonded and share genuine friendships with. So I can say with bold confidence that IVE is that special, because I can look back on these last three years fondly, through both the good and the bad. This latest piece is a representation and reflection of my journey as both a fan and as a person.
