To clarify some stuffs(spoilers warning):

          	1.) Samuel’s memento is entirely his own, from his personal experience living through the Etrean Civil War.

          	 2.) Samuel’s Bell(resonance). does not increase his speed. Instead, it allows him to skip frames of motion. If he times an action perfectly against a pre-planned movement, the overlapping "frame" is removed. making it look like he is teleporting from an outside POV. This is uses against Sheele in Chapter 1, to vanish from Ogre’s sight in Chapter 3, to sever that arm in Chapter 4, and to blitz Seryu in Chapter 8.

          	 3.) Galebreath (Specter Path):
          	His Galebreath path is Specter Path. The standard path, suffocation, would be too OP against normal humans in the Akame ga Kill! universe.

          	 4.) Samuel has no connection to the Spellhardt family on the floating keep.

          	 5.) In this story, the Lord Regent (Zieer) has a voice of Sephiroth (specifically his voice actor from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth). It just feels like a much better fit for the character.
